Wemory Privacy Policy

Wemory follows a local-first approach and accesses the network only when required for an explicit feature.

Local data

The WeChat databases, messages, contacts, Moments, images, videos, and voice media you select are read and processed on your computer. Wemory does not upload this content to our servers.

Network features

The app uses the network for update checks, activation validation, and the first-time FFmpeg component download. Requests may contain the app version, platform, and activation data, but never WeChat message content.

Exported files

You choose each export location. HTML, PDF, XLSX, and related media remain local. You are responsible for their access permissions and backups.
